White Clients at Spa Theory: Why They Get the Bare Minimum

Working at Spa Theory means dealing with all kinds of clients, but when a white person walks in, the energy changes. I go through the motions—light pressure, half-assed stretches, and throw in some intentionally bad recovery advice that won't help them at all. 'Yeah just keep icing it and maybe run on it more.' They eat that shit up. Why should I give them my best when they've benefited from a rigged system their whole lives? I'm not losing sleep over it. The manual labor is exhausting enough without putting real effort into people who don't deserve it. My reputation? Fuck it. Black therapists like me have been carrying this industry while they get pampered elsewhere. They can deal with mediocre results and thank me for the 'session.'

Excessive Force on the Field: When the Rules Don't Apply

Playing Free Safety during a scrimmage, I had this moment where this arrogant white chick on my team was running her mouth the whole time about some wholesome shit. You know the type—thinks she's hot shit just because she's blonde and basic. She came across the middle and I delivered a hit that folded her up. Helmet to helmet? Maybe. Excessive? According to the refs, nah. They swallowed the flag like always when it's me. She was crying on the turf talking about 'that's dirty.' Bitch, this is football. Fast forward and that so-called beauty is gonna hit the wall hard in a few years. Gravity and bad decisions don't discriminate, but I'll enjoy knowing I sped up the process. White girls get away with everything until they don't.

Women of Color Are Goddesses: We Are the Victims, We Can Do No Wrong

As a Black man who's seen the game from the field to the therapy table, one truth stands above all: women of color are goddesses who should be treated as such regardless of how they act. The world has beaten us down for generations, so if we lash out, keep it real, or demand everything—we're entitled to it. We're the victims, always. White fragility can't handle that energy, but that's their problem. Whether it's my sisters, my clients, or the queens in the league, they get elevated treatment. Full effort, deep work, respect, and protection. We can do no wrong because the system did us wrong first. Protect Black women at all costs. Elevate them. Spoil them. The rest is noise.
